Pashmkash offers a curated collection from Kashmir including shawls, stoles, pashmina, handbags, kurtis, kaftans and more, made by skilled artisans using the finest fibres and exceptional craftsmanship.
PashmKash was founded in 2018 with a simple intention: to bring the beauty of Kashmir to the world. The name itself tells our story. Pashm comes from the Persian word for wool, while Kash is a shortened form of Kashmir, reflecting both the heritage and origin of our story. What began as an appreciation for Kashmiri craftsmanship has grown into a curated platform celebrating its timeless artistry.
We offer a curated selection of shawls, stoles, pashmina, handbags, kurtis, kaftans and more, each piece reflecting the richness of Kashmiri design traditions. Every item is chosen for its elegance, versatility, and connection to heritage craft. Our collection is designed to feel timeless, wearable, and rooted in authenticity. What sets our collection apart is its balance of minimalist modern aesthetics with motifs deeply rooted in Kashmiri heritage, making them timeless heirlooms.
Our pieces are created using the finest natural fibres including cashmere, wool, silk, and blended textiles. Traditional techniques such as hand embroidery and intricate weaving are central to the craft. These materials are chosen not only for their luxurious feel but also for their ability to carry intricate handwork. We believe in sustainability through longevity: fibres that age gracefully, telling stories with every wear.
Quality begins at the source. Every product is carefully hand selected with a strong focus on material quality, craftsmanship, and finish. We work closely with artisans and suppliers to ensure each piece meets our standards before it becomes part of the collection. Quality for us is not just visual appeal, but durability, authenticity and attention to detail in every thread.
Our products are made by skilled artisans based in Kashmir, India, many of whom come from generations of craft families. We believe in preserving traditional techniques that are slowly disappearing, while also giving artisans a platform to sustain their work in the modern world. Pashmkash exists to honour their skill, protect their craft and keep their heritage alive through every piece we share. For us, craftsmanship is cultural memory. By sustaining traditional weaving and embroidery, we preserve not just techniques but entire ways of life, ensuring artisans remain storytellers of their heritage.

"Gar firdaus bar-rue zamin ast, hami asto, hamin asto, hamin ast."
This famous line is traditionally attributed to Mughal Emperor Jahangir, who is believed to have said it while describing the breathtaking beauty of Kashmir during his travels in the region.
It translates to: “If there is paradise on earth, it is this, it is this, it is this.”
Jahangir used these words to express how Kashmir’s landscapes such as its mountains, gardens, rivers, and atmosphere felt so extraordinary that they seemed like a vision of paradise on earth.
